Doulas might be the most important thing parents invest in for their birth and are being sought out by parents who value the emotional support and advocacy a doula offers. A doula does not perform any clinical tasks, but instead prepares parents for their birth fears, helps them to cope with the intensity of labour and facilitates discussion between parents and their health care team.

• Have completed training with a recognized doula training facility (i.e. DONA, CAPPA, Childbirth International, Hypnobirthing, Birthing From Within) and provide proof of training with their application
• Be LGBTTTQ friendly
• Be actively practicing doulas (new or experienced)
• Have available spots for doula clients in the 6 months following the event
• offer services in your immediate or surrounding area
