Information For Doulas

If you are just starting your doula practice or have been offering doula care for some time, you'll know that a lot of your energy and resources goes into promoting your services and finding clients. Many doulas struggle with this part of their practice since the common motivation to enter the field of doula work is a love of birth and not a passion for business or marketing.

So we've created Doula Speed Dating™ to help you easily reach out to potential clients and allow your practice to grow. Doula Speed Dating™ is one of the only events you'll participate in that provides you with one-on-one opportunities to speak with parents who are intentionally there to find a doula. From past events we've found that most parents in attendance follow through to select a doula from the event for their birth and/or postpartum care, prenatal classes or other wellness services. This means that the likelihood of being matched with clients from Doula Speed Dating™ is very high and may be more effective than spending time and money on display tables, advertisements, distributing promotion packages or waiting for your referral base to build.

How do I Sign-up for Doula Speed Dating™?

You can easily find a Doula Speed Dating™ event in your area by using the search engine on our Events Page. The hosts' contact information is provided next to their event listing. Each host is responsible for the coordination of doulas for each Doula Speed Dating™. Please contact the host of your local event for an application form and for more information about registration fees, Bundle Packages and cancellation/refund policies.
